Sinister reads the message with no small amount of disdainful boredom, letting out a sigh. Not worth the time it would take to reply. Boring humans. Dropping the phone carelessly on the table, he turns his gaze back towards Evan. 

“Now. Where were we?” he asks brightly.

Evan’s phone buzzes from the table, and Sinister steps away from the unconscious boy long enough to grab the phone and read the message. 

“Ah, your friends are so concerned for you,” he says with amusement. His lips purse in thought before he begins to tap out a reply, reading it aloud as he does in an imitation of Evan’s voice. 

“Don’t worry. I am doing fine. Thanks for the warning. I don’t blame you for any of it. Ok? I’ll see you in a week.”

Well considering Jubilee is probably Evan’s favorite adult, I have to point out that fangedfirecracker is incredibly in character and a wonderful person to write with. She captures Jubilee perfectly to the point of giving me nostalgia from when I first started reading/watching X-Men as a kid.
