“Oh, hello.” Evan blinked, slightly surprised that he hadn’t noticed her. “Are you new here?”

“Umm… no. Well, yes. I mean, I guess in some ways you could say so,” she replied a bit confused herself at how to answer the question correctly and truthfully. “I’m Jean, by the way. Nice to meet you.”

“Well welcome to the school then?” He let the corner of his lip twitch upward for a moment before dropping back down. “It’s nice to meet you too, Jean… Wait, do you spell it the same way Jean Grey did, or does it just sound the same?”
